First draft of this one. Wanted to try a short track with no breath breaks (had to put together multiple takes) to get the repetitive, non-stop rhythm of a train... of thought. This was a rough recording without audio treatment and a first round mix. I will definitely want to take further passes at this one.

Lyrics are mostly there are on this one, but I'm likely to still make a few tweaks. Mixing and production are coming along, but I also have some work to do there.

This is the first released recording after I added some acoustic treatments to my office and some significant mixing learning.

I recorded this in my untreated office, splicing together multiple takes of each line as I played with delivery. That process has encouraged me to set up some better space acoustic treatment so that I can keep recording -- I haven't been able to try again on this one. It's also the first time I've ever used someone else's beats (Gotenkeys), which was both weird and positive (it forces me to bend my own delivery more than I might if I made it myself).

Next steps:
- refine the lyrics
- re-record the vocals

I am going to start posting works in progress. Here's my first one, currently untitled (leaning towards something about fun or quiet).

I originally thought this was going to be the first verse, but it might be the whole song. Not sure about the final lines--might be too much in my head and out of context for everyone else. Probably also needs a little intro and some production help. For now I'm working on the vocals and mixing options.
